The Buttonwood Tree hosts outdoor community meditation on Sundays

MIDDLETOWN – The Buttonwood Tree, at 605 Main Street, will present a community meditation for world peace on Sunday at the South Green.

The event will take place from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Union Park, at the corner of Main and Union streets. Everyone is welcome to attend this free event.

It could possibly be streamed live on Facebook, according to a press release. If so, virtual participants will have the opportunity to add their positive thoughts wherever they are.

This meditation will be led by Annaita Gandhy, Spiritual Guide in Middletown. As a teacher and healer, her offerings include meditations, workshops, energy healing, cosmic understanding and personal growth, according to the press release. She has also been leading workshops at the Buttonwood Tree since 2011.


Respectful social distancing is requested. This event is free, with a rainy date of October 24, and donations are welcome to support The Buttonwood Tree’s programming.
